Week One

July 2-5 Alumni/Reunion Family Pod Camp (Formally known as BFLF)

July 5-8th Family Pod Camp (Formally known as BFLF)

Join us on the mountain for an exciting family/pod summer camp experience!  This will be a fun family/pod camp with all of The Pine’s favorite camp traditions and programming.  Enjoy crafts, games, conversations, workshops, interest groups , hikes, and other fun and meaningful activities with your family/pod.  This is a great option with families who have younger kids or families that are not ready to send their campers back to camp based on Covid 19 infection rates. This year we will have two family/pod camp options: July 2-5 and July 5-8th!

Pricing:

$325/family member- UNTIL May 21st

$395/family member- May 20th until June 16th

$430/family member- June 17th  until June 30th 

Babies up to 3 y/o FREE :)

 

July 5-8th CIT Training (Age 16-19 years old interested in Counseling)

During July 5-8th, CIT campers will participate in an in depth training that will go over child development stages, group management strategies, games, songs, programming ideas, etc.  The half week will also incorporate camp’s favorite activities like campfire, hiking, night time activities, crafts and more!  During July 5-8th CITs will put their new training to work as they volunteer during Family/Pod camp.  CITS will help lead activities, lead games and songs, and support the paid staff as necessary.  Once CITs complete the CIT program, they will be invited to join the following camps as Junior Counselors.

Week Two - Seed to Sequoia Nature Camp

July 9-15th Camper/Counselor Camp 

During this 6-night/7-day overnight camp, we will do all of the fun and meaningful activities The Pines is known for.  This is an intergenerational camp with programming for Minis (1st-3rd graders), Juniors (4th-6th), Jr. High (7th-8th), Sr. High (9th-Graduating Seniors), and Pinesters.  This week’s theme is Seed to Sequoia Nature Camp.  We will focus a lot of activities around learning about and exploring nature; focusing on the radical community, love, and lessons nature provides.

$675/camper- UNTIL May 21st

$775/camper- May 20th until June 16th

$825/camper- June 17th  until June 30th

Week Three - Creative Expressions Camp

July 16-22nd - Camper/Counselor Camp 

During this 6-night/7-day overnight camp, we will do all of the fun and meaningful activities The Pines is known for.  This is an intergenerational camp with programming for Minis (1st-3rd graders), Juniors (4th-6th), Jr. High (7th-8th), Sr. High (9th-Graduating Seniors), and Pinecones and Pinesters.  This week’s theme is Creative Expression.  We will focus on expressing ourselves through various art forms, including: dance, music, fine art, drama, poetry, and more!  We will focus on expressing God’s love and joy through our creativity.

$675/camper- UNTIL May 21st

Week Four - Rainbows and Justice Camp

July 23rd-29th - Camper/Counselor Camp 

 During this 6-night/7-day overnight camp, we will do all of the fun and meaningful activities The Pines is known for.  This is an intergenerational camp with programming for Minis (1st-3rd graders), Juniors (4th-6th), Jr. High (7th-8th), Sr. High (9th-Graduating Seniors), and Pinesters.  This week’s theme is Rainbow Justice.  We will focus on creating a safe and brave space that  prioritizes folx part of the LGBTQ+ community.  We will infuse justice education into our traditional camp activities.

FAMILY POD CAMP (Week One Only)

All ages

Join us on the mountain for an exciting family/pod summer camp experience!  This will be a fun family/pod camp with all of The Pine’s favorite camp traditions and programming.  Enjoy crafts, games, conversations, workshops, interest groups , hikes, and other fun and meaningful activities with your family/pod.  This is a great option with families who have younger kids.

JUNIOR CAMP (Weeks 2- 4)

4th - 6th grade

Junior Camp is the biggest camp around! Pilgrim Pines can host up to 50 Juniors, entering 4th through 6th grade, in their very own camp. Our Juniors get to start the day with an early morning Polar Bear Dip. They collect beads to commemorate hikes, dances, learning about environmental justice, the talent show, Vespers service, dressing up for the Theme Dinner and many more challenging and fun camp experiences!

Sr. High Camp (Weeks 2- 4)

9th Grade - Graduating Senior 

Sr. Highers are free to be themselves, participate in small group discussion times, swim, hike, act in the talent show, relax with other campers their age and are encouraged to take initiative in camp activities, leadership and worship. Those entering 9th through 12th grades or just graduating high school are the only age group able to select a camp week to fit their fancy.

Pinester Camp (Weeks 2 and 4)

Adults 25 and up

Pinesters are special needs adults ages 25 or older. We welcome our adult campers with lots of TLC and look forward to spending time together playing with the parachute, games on the Field of Dreams, doing crafts, swimming, archery, singing songs, hiking to visit Smokey the Bear at the Ranger Station, and building community in this special place of love and compassion. Additional Pinester Forms are required for registration.

NOTE: All first time Pinesters MUST attend Pilgrim Pines’ open house in order to make sure that our camp is right for them. To ensure a good fit we cannot make exceptions to the Open House Policy.

Peppermint Ridge

A partnership between “The Ridge”and the UCC began in 1965. Hundreds of campers have come to camp together during Week 1 of camp, some blended with other Pinester Campers and some with their very own staff. Peppermint Ridge is sponsored by the UCC and some of our Peppermint Ridge campers have been in the Pinester program for over 40 years! What a great week to spend at camp! Additional Pinester Forms are required for registration.

MINI CAMP (Weeks 2 - 4)

1st - 3rd Grade

 Mini Land is a special place where campers entering 1st through 3rd grade stay and play at Pilgrim Pines. Minis get to swim, hike to see Smokey the Bear at the Ranger Station, do crafts, eat a s’more at campfire, and create their own Vespers service with help from the Pastor at Camp and Music Director.

JR. HIGH  (Weeks 2- 4)

7th and 8th Grade

 Jr. Highers can build the signature Pilgrim Pines Community by forming long-lasting relationships with other campers. They learn how to express themselves and form personal and unique opinions on what faith and justice mean to them. Those entering 7th and 8th grade are able to brave some of the toughest rites of passage at Pilgrim Pines! Campers hike, participate in the low ropes course, sleep out under the stars, and sing and dance at campfires.

CIT TRAINING (Week 1 only)

16 - 19 years old

18 - 29 years old 

Pinecones are 18 through 29 year olds with special needs. Pinecones have their own exciting week at camp doing archery, tackling the climbing wall, visiting Smokey the Bear at the Ranger Station, doing crafts, dancing, swimming, hiking, and singing at campfire. Additional Pinester Forms are required for registration.

Seedlings (Week 3 only)

10 - 17 years old

Seedlings are campers ages 10 through 17 years old with special needs. During their special week of camp, caring counselors help to create cherished memories, loving journeys and FUN time. Seedlings have fun and fellowship through games, crafts, hiking, singing, drum circles, swimming and worship. Additional Pinester Forms are required for registration.​
